Harlem Mother and Child III
The “mother” holds her baby high on her limb so it can see and communicate better this way. This tree in Harlem on West 130th St. was taken down so the basketball court could be seen from the street. It was one of my favorite trees that I have painted and drawn, so I miss seeing it when I walk to my studio.
