Hanging Suspended

I created this piece sing a source I found of a tree in Viareggio, Italy I love it’s upside down position, so unexpected. In 2005 when drawing, I started to press down with the charcoal, on paper that wasn’t sealed as much as usual. The dark black effect really appealed to me; I saw its potential as a move forward in a new series.
