Hail the Inhabited

I discovered this tree in Pisa, Italy. It reminds me of a Roman dignitary who is greeting a fellow citizen. I have painted this tree as well; it has a pattern of sycamore bark on its surface that is visually rich and engaging. See the “Painting” gallery for a look!
